The first day of fall might be in September but when October hits, you know it’s time for pumpkin patches, sweaters and boots. Fall is my favorite season for fashion because there are so many outfit options. I started my blog in January of this year so I haven’t had a chance to share all of my fall fashion finds and styling tips. What are your favorite things to wear in fall?
I know most of the trendy fall sweaters might have designs and such but my go-to’s are mainly solid or simple pieces so they can be worn multiple times and be mixed and matched. I am really loving the sweater and waffle knit options Amazon has had recently so I scooped up a few pieces for fall and am sharing them in this haul. All pieces are Prime and linked below with sizing and fit details.
Turtleneck Sweater with an Asymmetric Hem: This thick and cozy sweater has an oversized feel and fit. I love the hem on this top because it is flattering and can be dressed up or down. I sized down to an XS in khaki based on the reviews of it fitting larger than normal.
Waffle Knit, Puff Sleeve Top: This is probably my favorite piece in the haul because it is such a versatile top. I love the puff at the bottom of the sleeves and the waffle knit fit. It is a thinner piece that could be worn on warmer fall days and could also work with a cardigan over top. It is TTS, I am wearing a small in black.
Twill, Volume-Sleeve Top: This top has a blouse feel and goes great with jeans or dress pants. When I ordered this top I was originally thinking it would be great for work but it can be a dressy casual look too when paired with jeans. It is TTS, I am wearing a small in the animal print.
High Low Hem, Waffle Knit Turtleneck Tunic: Here is another waffle knit top with a great fit. This high low hem makes it look great with leggings and the looser fitting turtleneck gives it a relax feel. It is thinner than a typical fall/winter sweater and is TTS, I am wearing a small in maroon.
Comfy, Color Block Sweater: This sweater screams all of the fall vibes to me with the looser fitting sleeves and color block pattern. It has a boxer fit which is why I stayed with my true size and has a thicker material like a true sweater. It is TTS, I am wearing a small in green.
Boat Neck Dolman Sweater: This is a piece I know I will be wearing quite often this season. It is thick enough for those cooler fall days but also has a comfy and loose fit. I love the high neck and the horizon lines because they give this sweater some texture. It only comes in ‘one size’ but oddly fits great, this is in white.
Midi Leopard A-Lined Dress: 2020, the year of everything animal print. This dress has a drawstring belt at the waist giving it shape and allowing it to accentuate your figure. The top part is button up and the sleeves have a looser feel but fitted at the wrist. I’m not crazy about the length, for reference I am 5’2″ but feel like if I would have sized down to an XS it might fit a bit better. I am wearing a small in khaki.
