Inspiring creativity + confidence in your wardrobe
With it being the awkward transition time from Winter to Spring I sometimes struggle finding things to wear. Here in the South, for the most part, temperatures are up and down every day so one staple piece that I know will go with lots of outfits are faux leather leggings. I am late to this trend but I love, love, love them. They are flattering and can dress up so many looks. Oh and since they are leggings they are comfy as ever. Here are six different ways I styled faux leather leggings.
I’m pretty sure I start all of my looks by adding a cardigan. It is such a great way to add a pop of color and to make for a classic look. Beige and white are usually my go to cardigan colors for Spring.
Here are some similar options for the cardigan and leggings. These will be my go to shoes for Spring looks, I sized up a half size to a 7.5.
Light weight scarves are so great for Spring because there always tends to be a chill in the air. Adding some texture with a floral design or colored scarf can give this outfit some life. In this look I added these quilted flats for a more casual and comfy look.
This chambray is such a great fit and so versatile, I’m wearing a S. I sized down half a size to a 6.5 in these shoes. Here are some similar linked scarves.
Oh girl, I am living for this classy, professional look. A cropped blazer can give you the business look but isn’t as bulky as a normal blazer. The detailing on this top also gives some texture and powder blue, along with other bright colors, are great for Spring.
These block heels are tts and will definitely be pulled into Spring and Summer. Wearing a S in this blazer, tts. Similar scalloped tops linked here as well.
A utility vest is the perfect piece for Spring. Sometimes a jacket is too heavy and a vest serves as a good in between piece. Paired with ballet flats can make this a work or casual look.
This vest is so light, comfy and tts, I’m wearing a S. Flats linked below too.
A denim jacket is a classic Spring look and I will be rocking all different washes of denim this season. I scooped up this black distressed one and love the casual, edgy vibe. I added some beige Vans because I just love comfy and cute shoes for this look.
This jacket is tts and comes in a couple of different washes. Vans are sure to complete any causal look, here are a similar look.
I’ve got to finish every ‘one piece, many ways’ guide with an athletic feel. This cozy pullover is lightweight and has a good fit to it. Topped with sneakers, I could live in this look.
Linked the exact pullover along with a couple of other similar ones. Black sneakers are my go-to.
This ‘one piece, many ways’ guide of faux leather leggings ranges from business looks to casual outfits. Which is your favorite look?
Warmly, Emily
