A new decade, a new year and a fresh start! For the past probably five years I have been following so many inspirational, driven women sharing their journeys in regards to fashion, lifestyle and faith. Since I have gotten a glimpse into this community I have had the desire to share my own story so I figured since it is a new year it was about dang time to get in the game. So here’s to the year 2020 and here’s to going ALL in!
I am excited to be sharing not only my outfits but also some fashion tips and tricks that I use and absolutely love! My goal is for this to be an uplifting and encouraging place for fun and creative content to live. My favorite quote is “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game!” Bonus points if you know what movie that is from… ok, I won’t leave you in suspense for too long. It is from ‘A Cinderella Story’ you know the OG one with Hilary Duff, such a classic, back in the day of flip phones and T9 texting! Anyway I love this quote because it serves as a reminder to me to not let the fear of failing at something keep you from giving it your all. So let me ask you, is there something that you have been wanting to try out for the longest time but are nervous of what people might think or say. Or maybe you’ve played out the worst case scenario in your mind and have convinced yourself that it wouldn’t work and you would be better off if things stayed the same. What if I fail? What if people judge me? Or what if no one cares?
BUT what if you do the thing, whatever you have been holding back from, and it turns out to be the greatest decision you ever made? What if you don’t fail and end up having more fun and freedom then you imagined? Because guess what people will 100% judge you whether you go all in or sit on the sidelines so you might as well have a little fun and do whatever you want! It’s 2020 girlfriend so pour yourself a cup of coffee (or pick one up at your local Starbucks) and let’s have some fun this year… shoot let’s party like it’s 1999!
